Automatic Fare Collection (AFC)

Automatic Fare Collection(AFC)，It is an automated system based on computer, communication, network, automatic control and other technologies to achieve the entire process of rail transit ticketing, ticket checking, billing, toll collection, statistics, sorting, management, etc.
At the system level, the automatic fare collection system of urban rail transit is divided into five levels: ticket, station terminal equipment, station computer system, line central computer system, and sorting system.

Line Central Computer（LCC）

LCC is the core of the AFC system in this project. LCC monitors the entire line of SC and station ticketing equipment, operates the system, performs ticketing revenue and passenger flow statistics, and realizes the centralized collection, storage, statistics, and management functions of AFC system data.

Functional features:

Operations management, ticketing management, and equipment management. Implementing centralized management of system operation, revenue, and equipment maintenance: achieving centralized collection, statistics, and management of system data, implementing data interfaces with ACC, downloading parameters from ACC to complete parameter processing, completing LCC clearing and reconciliation with ACC, and managing revenue for lines.

Station Computer（SC）

SC is the center for monitoring, controlling, and managing station ticketing equipment, and also plays a role in transmitting and receiving information between LCC and station ticketing equipment.

SC Function:

Monitor and control the operation status of station SL, collect and analyze various operational data, and upload them to LCC: Receive system parameters issued by LCC system and distribute them to relevant station equipment.

Station Level Equipment（SLE）

The station specific equipment is directly aimed at subway passengers, and the terminal equipment in the AFC system plays the role of an information collector. Station special equipment generally includes semi-automatic ticket vending machine, automatic ticket vending machine, Internet ticket vending machine, automatic ticket checker, portable ticket checker, self-service ticket processing terminal, etc. Supports various ticket systems such as card, TOKEN, QR code mobile NFC tickets, and facial recognition.
