The Qingdao Metro MLC project is positioned as the network-level central system platform of Qingdao Metro's automatic fare collection system. It covers not only the construction of the recent line central platform, but also the construction of the long-term line network central platform. It includes not only dual-center application software, but also standard station computer system software, standard reader software, big data analysis platform, etc., providing unified planning from the center to the station business software, lay a solid technical foundation for future new line access.

According to the data of China Urban Rail Transit Association, the construction of dual centers in the domestic rail transit field generally adopts the main and standby center scheme, while the dual centers of Qingdao MLC project innovatively adopt the same city (application) dual-living center mode. The project is based on the cloud platform and uses cloud-native technologies (including microservices, containers, continuous publishing, DevOps, etc.). It is the first case in China to launch dual-center applications and dual-live applications. The application of dual-activity means that the services to be processed by the dual-center are distributed in the two centers at the same time through the load balancing strategy. It can fully mobilize the computing power of the dual-center according to the resources, the technical advantages and elastic characteristics of the cloud platform, and interact and support each other at the five levels of network, load balancing, application, storage and database. The dual-center can switch flexibly and conveniently under different fault scenarios, and the use of computing resources in the data center is maximized.
